Paint Mix Room: a paint preparation and distribution solution developed by EPI

EPI designed and developed a modern and secure Paint Mix Room (PMR) for the Stellantis paint process. The installation meets the technical and operational requirements of the site.

The system ensures reliable paint preparation and distribution. It provides a clean and easy-to-operate solution. Its design also supports consistent performance during daily production activities.

A system designed for reliable paint preparation

The installation includes a 500 L station with automatic unloading. This station features a complete mixing and transfer system.

A paint level control system is also integrated into the equipment. It helps maintain consistent operating conditions throughout the process. As a result, the installation supports process performance and repeatability.

The system also includes a second station with manual filling. This configuration provides greater flexibility for colours with lower consumption. It offers a more economical solution for specific production requirements.

Ventilation and technical integration

Ventilation operates continuously within the room. The system also provides optimized air extraction to support the operating conditions required by the process.

EPI has integrated an adapted retention system as well. This solution contributes to the safe management of the installation and its daily operation.

In addition, the technical layout has been designed to facilitate access to the different equipment. The organization of the room supports efficient operations and helps maintain stable paint distribution towards the booths.
